For the safe and aseptic storage of flexible endoscopes

configured right or left opening also during
installation.

After being reprocessed in EW 2, the endoscope is ready to be stored in our ED100 or ED200 drying cabinets which protect endoscopes from any recontamination.

Endoscopes are quickly dried inside and outside: warm sterile air is blown through each internal channel and over all surfaces of flexible endoscope while they are into the cabinet, ensuring that endoscopes are will ventilated at all times.
The endoscope internal channels are connected to the drying circuit through specific quick connectors. Up to 8 endoscopes stored into cassettes are taken up at a time.
The process allows the storage of endoscopes that are ready for use at least 72 hours after full washing, reprocessing and storage with no need to reprocess them again within this period. ED cabinets control the microbial levels of the stored endoscopes which are then immediately ready to be used whether for routine or emergency operations.

Steelco drying cabinets can e fitted with a bar code reader scopes in and out ensuring full tracking and traceability of the scopes.

> Two models are available, both of them are single or double door pass-through version:
- ED100 basic unit with keypad and LCD display
- ED200 PLC control with touch screen. The ED 200 version in endowed with Ethernet connection through which it communicates to the Steelcodata for a full traceability.

IMPORTANT NOTE!!! The Steelco Endoscope reprocessor EW2 is a washer, high-level disinfector for the reprocessing of flexile endoscopes according to the international standards ISO 15883-1 and 15332-4. The Steelco EW2 does not have the US-FDA pre-market notification registration 510(k) at this moment in time. Steelco is working to obtain the registration in the very near future. Any references to "disinfect" or meanings of it, used in brochures for the USA market are inappropriate and improper. Steelco disclaims any liability in connection with any representation that the Steelco EW2 acts as a disinfector.
